DJ Lee Haslem visits the Gallery

Lee Haslam coming to Cape Town was a big enough event in my life that i actually stayed at home on friday night so i could be on form for saturdays event (crazy i know - but true)... So anyways here were the results:

The main dance floor

Me in foreground (look closely)

So basically - massive night well worth fridays sacrifice :) Every time i go to one of these parties I promise myself ill go more often - why - well wicked music aside, the people that go to these sort of things are a collection of the friendliest buggers around, all after nothing more than a good night out. No pretense, no Aggo - just people jumping up and down together in an impressive display of DJ hero worship... Its quality

Heres a prime example of the sort of oak im talking about :) by the way this guy has the BEST t-shirt ever!! Those of you who saw "Napolean Dynamite" will appreciate it... If i had a shirt like this id wear it all the time (really)

Villa Boys attend most Porno Party EVA

Adam, Tiff, Taryn, AlSo last week we attended a "playmates / playboys" party... we decided that it wasnt worth going unless we were gonna go big... these were the results :)

Needless to say there were a few raised eyebrows :) Frankly to be honest we were expecting a little more skin on the part of the ladies but that clearly was not on the cards... o well

And if your wondering were the 3rd musketeer was... old joofyloops decided that he was WAY to sick (cool) to go topless... poor form ants :)

Something for the ladies - LOL

Power Outages Explained :)

Hahahaa this is classic - now i understand...

Breaking news: Eskom authorities have finally isolated the loose nut allegedly responsible for the recent rolling power cuts suffered across the Cape Peninsula.

When asked for his comment, Eskom CEO Montgomery Burns replied simply that: “a lifetime of working at a nuclear power plant has left me with a healthy green glow… and left me as impotent as a Nevada boxing commissioner“.

attman's budget 2006 - "budget-ometer"

cant make sense of the budget speech...?

by drawing a comparison to some of trevors highlights yesterday, i will attempt to demonstrate how the residents of 7 balgay court - aka the_villa - will be affected in their personal and business capacities, by the same steady progress we have come to expect and appreciated from the budget which the minister has put forward for 2006.

please note that only points affecting the residents will be noted below...

- total tax relief is good for all residents, enabling more dinner parties, appliances and increased spending on the aesthics of "the_villa"

- tax on retirment fund reductions are good news for joof, increased spending expected on that nest egg he has been hiding all these years

- transfere duty on property not such good news for #7 balgay herself, coupled with increased spending from tax relief the residents may find it easier to upgrade to a spot overlooking clifton

- offshore foriegn currency excellent news, as now all my savings sitting in zurich are legal up to 2bar, quite a way to go still

- more tax relief for small busineses sends good news to the entrepreneurial spirit housed within the walls of #7 balgay, only now we must identify the opportunity

- sin taxes hiked up again, bad news for the dinner parties, more so for the guests of future dinner parties, as they will be expected to arrive bearing wine

- expand and equip police force with up to R5,4bn, bad news for all the parties planned for #7 balgay for 2006, but good news for the neighbours as peaceful sleeps on weekend night are looking more promissing

- R7.1bn for gautrain, insignificant for #7 balgay residents, however if they can swing a stop at the bottom of the road with that colossal sum of money and pop another siding outside EY and openbox im sure we see value in this white elephant

- another 5c on road accident fund spells bad news for bundy and his A3, his cool factor could be reduced pending on the amount of time spent in his car, which will have to be reduced due to the higher cost in fuel

all in all if definetly looks as though trevor considered the residents of #7 balgay while craftly drawing up the budget for 2006, who knows, maybe its enough to tip an invite for dinner party, but bring your own wine!

Thunda's Met Pics

I was pretty sure that thunda took a few pics of my crew at the MET this year, but after browsing through the other day I only managed to find a measly two. This was quite dissapointing. I may have to get hold some of the guys who brought their digicams to find a decent one.

This was the better of the two pics. From left to right are blinky, zenya warrior princess,
gary and nigel fruitcake. Jokes, I don't know the last guy's name, but I bet its not as cool as nigel fruitcake.

the eagle has landed

expect big things...

Als First Post - niiice

So anyways long live "_villaLife" and all that...

Three cheers for bundy's first post:
HIP HIP HOORAY!... HIP... - k im over it

Bundy out

The boys on clifton: Joof, Attman, Bundy

Attman's first post

While we wait in anticipation for attman's first post, I thought I'd give the man a little introduction. Actually, I don't know if there's anything worthy to write about the man, other than that whether he is in fact a man is currently under dispute, so I'm just going to post his mugshot back when he did time who knows when.

Looking a little pale there attman. Perhaps a little nervous about your stint in the joint?

The younger, less good looking Joof

My bro's in Lake Tahoe at the moment. The resort where he's staying crosses the border of California and Nevada, the latter of which allows gambling. Guessing the one side of the resort is a lot more popular than the other.

He sent through some pics the other day, one of which is of the halfpipe they have there. I didn't get to go down the one at Buttermilk when we were over there, so jealous at the moment. This isn't him on the pipe by the way. For one, he's a boarder, two - he's just not that cool.

Welcome Joof

I'd just like to extend a warm welcome to our new poster, Joof, aka myself. Congratulations for managing to hax0r the company firewall to make this post. May both you and your posts be fruitful and multiply in the years to come.

Alongside you will find a pic of joof and a few of his core skills associates from his training course. Really random, but hey, my post has a pic and al's doesn't.
