The infamous belliot organised a getaway to Hermanus this last weekend which I was fortunate enough to attend. What we thought was Hermanus actually turned out to be Vermont, which is a little town just before Hermanus which kinda shares its space with Onrus. We stayed in an amazing little house which had a patio out to the sea.
As for what happened on the weekend, well, I don't actually remember most of it ^^. We cruised into Hermanus on Saturday afternoon to go for a little stroll and some shopping. We did some whale watching and were lucky enough to see a few tails swish and one or two blowholes go off.
We came across a a local crew on the grass patch alongside Cubana who'd laid out their xylophones and were playing some tunes for the wanderer's by. Some of us got a little excited and decided to display our talents as well. Not my thing tho. I took the pic :]
So other than that, all we really ended up doing was eating, sleeping and playing whatever games we could think of. Thanks to Sarah and Kati for being our resident chefs for the weekend. The food was fabulous. Thanks to all who came up with the games. As lame as some of them were, they were a lot of fun and that's all we were really looking for :>
