Washington

I did a LOT of wondering in Washington. Unfortunately the main stretch between Capital Hill and the Lincoln memorial was covered in snow, and all the 'reflecting pools' were iced over. I believe its a lot prettier in other seasons.

I did a tour of the Washington Monument, Capitol Hill and the Air and Space Museum. All three were excellent. I also made it to the Lincoln Memorial, the National Botanical Garden, the Supreme Court and Arlington Cemetery.

As everything is government run here, its all free. The down side is that it all closes at 5pm. I didn't have enough time to get into the cemetery for a proper look. Apparently its really worth a wander. Next time maybe :>
