Sixty Two Ten
I don't have camera on my phone, I have one of those old 'reliable' 6210's, which has actually been quite reliable up until now. I don't have a little digital camera either. Come to think of it, my life is pretty dull when it comes to pictures. Hence when it comes to posting, I often have to steal pics from others or off thunda and then put them up. Of course, if the last streak of thunda pictures were absolutely awful, it means I won't be posting for quite a while. Anyways, here is one without a photo.
Some lessons learnt over the past few weeks :)
Nikita's dance hall is the place to be. Cheap, cute afrikaans blondies by the dozen, 1.5 hours of remixed roxette followed by 30 minutes of sokkie. Yes, its a langarmdansaal and its great. Opposite Sanlam in Belville which is in fact where I'll be working for a quite a while soon.
Chrome is pretty crap. Unless of course you manage to get into the VIP section, which is where everyone hangs out. 3 jeiger bombs = R100, none of which, if you do make this mistake, should be bought for bundy.
The 2 Oceans is very do-able. Put in a few 10km runs and you, yes even you can pull a 1:43 out the bag. Do not, under any circumstances, wake up on a cold windy morning and drive out to Worcestory for a half marathon.
Caprice on a sunday? Even is its just to stare...
Do not buy Wilson Ncode Squash Racquets.
The rather large and rather african looking bouncer at Tiger Tiger will not let you enter wearing brown lace up shoes.
Go and watch the symphony of fire whenever its on. Bring wine, bring snacks. Park on a hilltop somewhere. Just make sure next year you watch with someone of the opposite sex. Jason.
and some random quotes...
Justin: The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not.
Bundy: You will become rich and famous unless you don't.
Neil: Beware of low-flying butterflies.
Adam: Adam was the only man who, when he said a good thing, knew that nobody had said it before him.
